Born March 21, 1969, at the St. Louis plant, this is
my fourth Mopar, and it is a "close to factory correct"
restoration. Originally built with bucket seats plus a buddy seat,
it now sports a console shifter minus the buddy seat. Additionally,
it sports a red lower stripe instead of the white stripe that came
from the factory, and an AM/FM thumbwheel radio in place of AM only.
This GTX has 2 broadcast sheets detailing the options from the
factory as well. The car was also produced with 11" HD drum
brakes, Hemi Suspension with sway bar, an N96 Fresh Air hood to
breathe, and a 3.55 sure grip rear end to help it get off the line.
The radiator support, trunk lip, engine, dash VIN, and fender tag
numbers all match. |
